Fashion habits can be tiresome (one of the best things about summer weather is that Kate Middleton/Duchess of Cambridge stopped wearing those black suede boots), but Charlene isn’t boring anyone yet.
No doubt the Armani dresses she’ll wear at her civil and religious wedding ceremonies will be WHITE, but for now the future Princess of Monaco is gorgeous in gray.
She strayed from the Armani path when she chose a suit from the Swiss couture house Akris for the royal wedding in London.
In a gray evening gown at the recent Amfar benefit on Monte Carlo, she greeted her niece-to-be, Princesss Caroline’s daughter, Charlotte Casiraghi.
Charlene has accompanied Prince Albert on foreign visits since their engagement, most recently to Ireland.
Even her Repossi engagement ring is in what the Palace called “gray gold”:
Okay, sometimes she just cuts loose and goes wild — in taupe.

I have a strong feeling that Charlene lacks confidence and does not know what the hell she’s doing. Hope she develops into her own person one day.
It’s a big job to take on. She’s got the Looking Good part down pat. Fingers crossed that Albert will be supportive. All reports on him over the years stress that he is A Nice Guy.
Goes wild in taupe? Funny
